Arden Care In Action: A Light In The Dark

December 7, 2020

Arden Botanical Estate recently launched Arden Care In Action to reach out to those who were displaced and left homeless due to the unfortunate events brought by Typhoon Rolly and Typhoon Ulysses.

These typhoons severely hit the Philippines, most especially vulnerable areas like Marikina City. The flood overflowed to the residential areas and affected several families along the Marikina River. Following this, the flooding in Cagayan was uncalled for, leaving most residents going up to their roofs for safety. Their call for help was all over social media, which awoke the generous hearts of the employees of Arden Botanical Estate.

The Salesforce and the Back Office voluntarily donated clothes and relief goods for sharing. Additionally, the green bags contained noodles, canned goods, toiletries, vitamins, biscuits, and other essentials. With the help of the maintenance personnel, the goods were packed and delivered to the two areas.

In Marikina, we turned over one box of clothes, one-bed cushion, and 31 relief bags to Bangon Tulong Marikenyo. In Cagayan Valley, we sent three boxes of clothes and 31 relief bags to Relief Para sa Tuguegarao. These groups will take charge of the distribution to affected families.

The CSR Logo

Arden Care In Action is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Arden Botanical Estate. It officially launched its logo, symbolizing the project with the elements such as house and leaves. The family placed on top of the hand signifies the willingness to help homes. Family is also the core reason for the advocacy. Now that it has kicked off its efforts by responding to the needs of the typhoon victims in Marikina and Cagayan, it will continue its intentions to give back to the community through future initiatives.
